Welcome to The West Grantham Church of England Primary Academy, supported by the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham Multi Academy Trust.
Our primary aim is to deliver an excellent education that empowers children and equips them for an aspirational future of life-long learning. ‘To champion and rejoice in those we serve, creating an environment where excellence is achieved and potential fulfilled’.
We stand up for what is right and are not afraid to learn from our mistakes as we push ourselves to be the very best that we can be.
“I can do all things
through Christ who
strengthens me”
Philippians 4:13
We have unwavering
confidence in ourselves, in
others, and in our
capacity to succeed.
“All things are possible to
him who believes”
Mark 9:23
We are dedicated and
devoted to, serving
others, achieving
excellence and celebrating
success.
“Be strong and
courageous. Do not be
afraid; do not be
discouraged, for the Lord
your God will be with you
wherever you go”
Joshua 1:9
We have unlimited hopes
and aspirations so all
can achieve their full
potential.
“The integrity of the
upright guides them”
Proverbs 11:3
We are honest, ensuring
that our actions are
guided by strong moral
principles that we refuse
to change.
“Love is patient, love is
kind. It does not envy, it
does not boast, it is not
proud. It always protects,
always trusts, always
hopes, always perseveres”
1 Corinthians 13:4 & 7

We will continue to use these skills to construct our stages for our shadow puppet show later in the year. - Mr Hardy ... See MoreSee Less

Today marks 80 years since Victory in Europe Day - 8 May 1945 - when the end of World War II was celebrated across Europe.
During our collective worship this morning, the children learned about this historic moment and listened to real letters written by children their age, filled with hope and excitement as peace was declared.
To commemorate this special anniversary, we invited all children and staff to come dressed in red, white, and blue — and they look absolutely fabulous! There's a wonderful, festive atmosphere in school today, full of joy and remembrance.
A special mention goes to Mrs Watson for truly capturing the spirit of VE Day
Lest we forget those who bravely fought for our country, and all who sacrificed so much for the peace we enjoy today. ... See MoreSee Less
